A Dream Built on Faith & Passion
Spotlight School of Dance has been family-owned and operated since February 2009. Founder Lori McNabb grew up dancing for her aunt, who owned a dance studio, and from a young age she dreamed of one day owning a studio of her own.
After earning her Master's Degree in Counseling and Administration, the dream of opening a studio still remained strong in her heart. Lori prayed that God would either take the dream away or show her a sign that she was meant to pursue it. Just one week later, she received a phone call from a former colleague she hadn't spoken to in years. He called to tell her about a building his son owned and remembered that she had once talked about opening a dance studio. Lori took that unexpected call as the answer to her prayer. Although that building did not end up working out, it gave her the confirmation she needed to move forward, and she has never looked back.
At Spotlight Dance, we offer opportunities for every type of dancer. Whether a student is looking to dance recreationally and perform in our Christmas or Spring recitals, develop their skills as part of our competitive teams, or train seriously with goals of dancing in college or pursuing a professional career, we strive to provide the training and support they need to succeed.
